It is possible to create a SAS^® Enterprise Miner^TM model that has character columns which are defined with a decimal zero width. Although the SAS^® language allows this, SAS^® Data Integration Studio 4.21 will flag it as an error (as shown in the following display) and will not allow you to continue to define your Mining Results transformation properties.

The Mining Results transformation in SAS® Data Integration Studio will produce an error dialog in the user interface and not allow you to procede if a character column is assigned a format with decimal zero width. The SAS language does allow this but SAS Data Integration Studio flags this as invalid.
